Sabine Crossen is a French/American actress and model who grew up in New Zealand.

Biography

She lived her early years in New Zealand, and also started acting on stage quite young, working on productions of Jesus Christ Superstar, Robin the Hood, and Around the World in 80 Days. After attending a dramatic arts college in Paris, she began working in film. For her first major role, she played the lead in Shadow Girl, winner of best photo at Thessalo (Greece) and the platinum award at the Houston film festival (USA).[1] Afterwards, she went back to New Zealand to play the role of a Rivendell elf in Peter Jackson’s Lord Of The Rings, followed by numerous parts in French films and television series, such as Les Acteurs, La Bûche, People, Je Prefere Qu’on Reste Amis, Le Juge est une Femme, upon her return to France.

In 2002, she co-presented the primetime Canal + TV show L’Hypershow with Fréderic Beigbeder. In 2005, after the lead female role in the mid-length film Surface Sensible, Sabine played in several promotional sketches for the film Hitch starring Will Smith. She has continued to work mostly in French, also appearing in the French hit movies Brice de Nice and L’Antidote.

In 2006, Crossen played the female lead role in the video game In Memoriam - The Last Ritual. Shooting for the game took place in Portugal, Canada, and the US. In 2007 she was in Hitman by Xavier Gens and Ce soir je dors chez toi by Olivier Barouxa dn she also appears in the award winning dvd Car Academy (220 000 dvds sold in France), where she plays the main character, the alien fairy Dragonfly and in an episode of the tv series Le juge est une femme.

Crossen is also a presenter (in English) for the Alcatel Web TV, shooting in Madrid and Barcelona for various world forums and she has also written songs for the cinema and several compilation albums, winning three gold discs.
